Questions and Answers

Here is a list of most commonly asked questions and answers:

Q:  What is Mi-Ki Association of Ethical Breeders (MKAEB)?

A:  MKAEB is an Association which was founded by Linda and Todd Elliott to provide a forum to allow honest, responsible breeders to come together in a positive environment to share concerns and ideas specifically to improve the Mi-Ki breed.

Q:  Why was MKAEB needed?

A:  Breeders and Pet Buyers need constant communication on the genetic soundness of the breeding programs to preserver their current good health for future generations.

Q:  Is MKAEB a Registry Club?

A:  No.  There are many Registry Clubs.  They divide people instead of encouraging their working together.  The Mi-Ki Breed is too sweet to be surrounded by so much negativity.  This is one positive place that breeders and pet owners can come together WITHOUT the POLITICS.

Q:  Who may join MKAEB?

A:  An application form is available to anyone who loves the Mi-Ki Breed and accepts to abide by the Code Of Ethics.

Q:  Do you have to be in a Mi-Ki Registry Club to have a purebred Mi-Ki?

A:  No.  To have a purebred Mi-Ki you can be registered with an established All Breed Registry.

Q:  Can I show my Mi-Ki that is registered only with an All Breed Registry?

A:  Absolutely yes.  All of our dogs will be eligible to show anywhere the Purebred Mi-Ki's are accepted, such as Rarities, National Canine Association, International All Breed Canine Association, and others.
